I love polls and I see we just have one poll on here about fave characters. So my poll is gonna be about your favorite Marian outfit. BEWARE: spoilers for
every season if you've not made it that far. I've tried to include every outfit that I could---particularly outfits she tended to wear alot, or just
memorable outfits just worn once but were important in some way and I also tried to include at least one episode where that particular outfit appears. And
sorry for all the S2 outfits, I just really loved her clothes that season. I do have an "other" category, so if you have another fave outfit just

I love the red/brown dress with flaps too. I personally think it really displays Lucy Griffiths beauty and figure. And then my second fave would probably be
the black dress as seen below. Just gorgeous---and her hair! Love that! And of course you gotta love that wedding gown.

Is there a picture of the one she wore in Turk Flu (1x05), and also in A Clue? No! (1x13) when she was talking to Guy about the assassination
attempt on the King? I really liked that -- simple and elegant. Oh, and the red one for the King's birthday/betrothal party in Tattoo? What
Tattoo? (1x08).

I voted for the red dress, but the watchman outfit is also one of my favourites. I saw a pic in google of her in a battle outfit way better that the watchman,
in black and silver. I haven't seen the ep where is it from, but I want to!!!

Oh! I actually really hate that dress in the second picture. I don't think it looks that pretty on Lucy Griffiths. Kinda makes her look a bit heavier IMO.
I do like when she has the more traiditional medieval type dresses on with the pretty cloaks/capes, but just not that dress.

This was actually quite difficult for me, but I had to go with the wedding dress. I love the way it looks from the back when she gets off Robin's horse
and is running down the road. Also at the top of my list is the red/brown dress with the flaps. I also love the white outfit she wears in Acre. I
automatically associate it with tragic circumstances (hm...is that an appropriate euphemism?), but you really can't deny that it's a beautiful costume
and that Lucy Griffiths looked beautiful wearing it. Hm, I can't really find many good pictures of it.
And not to ramble, but these are a few more that I like... The top half of the red dress in "Booby and the Beast." I'm just not a fan of the skirt.

The green and brown dress (in my third picture) was driving me crazy, so I just did a little research, and was rather surprised at my findings. She wears it
in the Beautiful Shirtless Guy scene (Season 2 Episode 3, but did I even need to say that?) and in episode 6, in the scene where Guy calls her "the least
easily won woman in England," as well as another scene with Robin (which I haven't found, but is obvious from the pictures). Unfortunately, I have to
rely on YouTube for my episode clips.
I guess both of these scenes hardly show much of the dress other than the neckline, so I never particularly noticed it, or that it is the same dress. Incidentally, the episodes in which Marian wears this dress are also the episodes where Guy appears shirtless. I wonder if there is a connection there.... |

just have something for the outfit in its own right. It's just a little bit badass, so I love it for that alone.

I can't believe no one's posted a photo of this outfit yet! I know alot of people really hate her pants but I think they're cute. And I love the
top with the corset. I'm embarrassed to admit that my father loves this outfit---only because he loves that scene in "Get Carter" where Marian
takes the dagger out from the corset and there's a nice shot of her cleavage---gross father! She's my age! LOL!
